MEMOFIX WARRANTY POLICY
This warranty policy refers ONLY to parts and services which have been purchased directly from Memofix.Parts: 180 days from shipment date
Consumables: 30 days from shipment date
Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from misuse or improper handling.
WARRANTY RETURNS
Memofix will replace defective parts free of charge if defective products are returned within the warranty period. We will only issue refunds on defective products if a replacement of equal or greater value is not available. Memofix will accept the defective return if an RMA number has been issued and the returned product is received in our warehouse within 30 days of the issuance of the RMA number.
It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for the return shipment of the defective part. Memofix will pay for the freight charges relating to the shipment of the replacement unit.
All parts that are returned under warranty will be inspected prior to replacement approval. Memofix will not accept returned products that exhibit evidence of misuse or improper handling. If you urgently need your replacement, you can elect to purchase the replacement product at full charge and we will credit your original purchase after inspecting your returned product.
RETURNS FOR CREDIT
Customers are responsible for correctly identifying the parts which they are ordering. If a Customer wishes to return a product, Memofix will accept returns for credit if an RMA number has been issued and the returned product is received in our warehouse within 30 days of the original shipping date. Returns must be received by Memofix in the same condition as when they were shipped by Memofix and include all documentation, parts and accessories which accompanied the original shipment. All returns for credit not resulting from an error made by Memofix will be charged a 25% or $25 restock fee, whichever is greater. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges and insurance associated with products returned for credit.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT
We are not responsible for damages incurred in transit. The shipping carrier is responsible for such damage.RMA PROCEDURE
To obtain an RMA number either contact a Memofix sale representative or complete the online RMA request. You will be prompted to log in or to register if you have not done so at the beginning of your session. Once the product's warranty has been verified a RMA number will be e-mailed to you authorizing the return. It usually takes 4 to 8 business hours to process a request. Product returned to us without valid RMA number will be refused by us.
Packaging and Shipping Instructions
Proper packaging will reduce the chances that the product will suffer physical damage during shipping and void the warranty.
Follow these instructions:
- If possible, insert the product into a static shielded foil or plastic zip lock bag
- Pack your product in a box using foam, bubble wrap or other packing material
- Allow a minimum of 2 inches of padding around your product
- Ensure the product is not loose inside the box
- Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the box

THE ABOVE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND TITLE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY AGAINST INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THE PROGRAM PROPERTY OR AGAINST INFRINGEMENT. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we will not be liable for any loss of revenue, loss of profits, or any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages however caused. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this disclaimer shall apply to any and all damages, regardless of Memofix having advised of the possibility of damages or loss to persons or property. Memofix’s liability of any kind, including any negligence on its part, shall be limited to the total amount you actually pay us for the products. The purpose of this limitation is to limit our liability for supplying the products and the allocation of risk is reflected in our prices. You acknowledge that the price of our products would be much greater if we undertook more extensive liability. You acknowledge that no employee of Memofix or any other party is authorized to make any representations or warranty not in this Agreement.
